Currently, there are only 16 authorized betting and gambling platforms in Colombia, with giants like Betplay, Wplay, Betfair, Bwin, and Codere dominating the market, collectively holding over 65% of the industry share. In terms of revenue, Slots and Roulette lead the pack, closely followed by Live Casino and Blackjack. Rappi Pay, initially recognized for food delivery, now serves as a financial entity for seamless online transactions. Baloto, available in over 48,400 stores nationwide, facilitates both online and cash payments. Additionally, Efecty, with its widespread network of 9000+ points across Colombia, provides a hassle-free alternative similar to well-known entities like Western Union. It allows gamers to make bank transfers and conveniently collect cash at any of their accessible locations.

Interestingly, influencers play a pivotal role in shaping the iGaming landscape in Colombia. Whether they identify as “The Trainer” or “The Predator,” gamers often follow influencers who share their values.
