THE CHALLENGE

European Aluminium needed an engaging and accessible way to educate professionals, students, and the general public about the aluminium industry. The goal was to create a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) that simplified technical knowledge without losing depth.

Key challenges included:

  • Highly Technical Information: The complexity of aluminium industry knowledge made it difficult to present in an accessible way.
  • Engagement Struggles: Traditional formats lacked interactivity, making retaining audience attention difficult.
  • Complex Industry Knowledge: There was a need to make highly technical information more understandable.
  • Need for Strong Brand Identity: Differentiating the MOOC as a standalone initiative where many organizations are involved.
  • Audience Engagement: Ensuring interactive and visually appealing content to drive participation and course completion.
 
THE SOLUTION
  • We provided end-to-end production, creative execution, and marketing support for the MOOC to ensure a seamless learning experience and strong student engagement.

 

  • We led pre-production planning with the client and universities involved, aligning course objectives with engaging visual storytelling. Our team developed the MOOC’s branding and visual identity, coordinated filming across two countries, and worked closely with course editors to refine all content. To enhance learning, we created motion graphics that simplified complex concepts, making them easier to understand.

 

  • Beyond content production, we also designed and executed targeted marketing campaigns to drive student enrollment, leveraging digital advertising, social media, and strategic messaging to reach key audiences.
 
THE RESULTS

The MOOC successfully engaged a global audience, with over 1,000 students enrolling worldwide. Through strategic planning, high-quality production, and targeted marketing, we helped make aluminium sustainability education widely accessible and impactful.
